Easily done, but already done on the MBP. Well it was good to have the MBA to setup, I'd forgotten about the two explicit permissions requirements that have to be manually enabled with admin credentials: Screen Recording and Accessibility. It has been a while so maybe that's changed.Īm I out of my mind or is there some fix for TeamViewer and/or something to use other than TeamViewer that will allow me to deal with new users and OS updates without having to have someone at the computer with Admin rights? If I remember correctly LogMeIn doesn't have these problems. The biggest reasons to use TeamViewer for me is to be able to remotely create new users and install updates - I can't really do either of those.

The next most annoying problem is that using TeamViewer to remotely access a Mac I can't create a new user and then logon as that user or install major OS updates because I can't control the Mac until after someone answers the initial questions.

That means the user needs to have an Admin rights on their computer which is not a good idea. It isn't very useful on a Mac because for a few reasons - the biggest being that with just about every OS update on the Mac the user has to re-allow TeamViewer.
